Can I install Cucumber for Jira on Jira server?

Not for the moment, we planned to support Jira server at the end of H1 in 2020. You can vote for this feature here to accelerate this development.

Does Cucumber for Jira support private Git instances?

Not yet, for the moment, you can only create your living documentation with GitLab.com, GitHub.com or Bitbucket.org. You can vote for GitLab private instance, GitHub private instance or Bitbucket server on the public backlog to accelerate these developments.

I don’t see the “Living documentation” tab, how do I display it?

Check if the Cucumber for Jira flag is enabled in your project settings: Configuring.

I cannot generate Jira issues from the living documentation, how do I fix that?

Your Jira project should support issue types: Story and Bug. You can add these issue types from the “Issue type” section in the project settings.

I don’t see the cucumber panel in the feature issue, how do I fix that?

  1. First check if the Cucumber for Jira flag is enabled in your project settings: Configuring.

  2. Check also if the feature issue contains the “BDD_Feature“ flag. If not, add it and refresh your browser

  3. If you have a next-gen project, check if the Cucumber menu is displayed
